The shopping mall hosts more than 100 tenants, including import clothing stores, variety shops and beauty and relaxation salons as well as an art gallery and a live house. There are also a number of food and drink establishments, such as an ethnic restaurant, garden cafés, steakhouses and more. Located on the coast side of Depot Island are Vessel Hotel Campana Okinawa and a walkway, which is a great place to enjoy a relaxing stroll while taking in the beautiful sunset view over the ocean. A new complex of one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants is expected to open its doors by spring 2015.

The first shopping center in Japan, Plaza House opened in 1954, when Okinawa was administered by the US. The influence of American culture still lingers at this shopping center, which has been in continuous operation for 60 years. Plaza House is a place where you can enjoy shopping for fine contemporary clothing and dining in an exotic atmosphere.

アカラ・ギャラリー/ボクネン・アートミュージアム

Akara/Bokunen Art Museum

Akara is a shopping, dining and art complex run by Okinawa's prominent woodblock artist Bokunen Naka. With a curved, dynamic roof and a spacious design that invites seasonal breezes, the building, which features an Okinawan motif, was designed by Bokunen the prodigy. Habu Box, the long-established fashion brand specializing in T-shirts, Bokunen's art museum and gallery, and café and restaurant Janosz can be found at Akara.

トロピカルビーチ

Tropical Beach

This is an urban-style beach with shallow water located right next to the Okinawa Convention Center. Tropical Beach is popular among locals and tourists alike, and it gets crowded with people relaxing or enjoying a BBQ on weekends. From the beach, you can take in a magnificent view of the sunset.

Toguchi Beach

This 200-meter-long natural beach is a famous spot for watching the sunset. Located in Yomitan Village, just next to Tomarigusuku Park with recreational equipment for kids, Toguchi Beach is always crowded with local families.

石川ビーチ

Ishikawa Beach

Ishizaki, Ishikawa, Uruma City

This is a public beach situated on the eastern coast of Okinawa, just next to the Ishikawa Sports Park. From the gazebos built on the beach, you can look out over the large expanse of Kin Bay. Surrounded by lush trees providing some welcome shade, the beach is a popular spot for picnics.

Kaichu-doro Beach

4 Yonashiroyahira, Uruma City

The route from the Katsuren Peninsula to Ikei Island, including the 4.7-kilometer-long Kaichu-doro -- an inter-island causeway that cuts through the shallow water between the main island of Okinawa and Henza Island --- is a popular choice for a scenic drive. A roadside park situated at the midpoint of the causeway has a concrete shoreline and a park area with a lush lawn and benches, making it an ideal place for picnics.

Araha Beach

This is an 800-meter-long beach popular among locals and the international crowd. The beach is part of Araha Park, which also contains 3-on-3 basketball courts and playground equipment. A wide variety of water-based activities are available.
