On July 2 Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort celebrates its highly anticipated grand opening. This is the second property under the Hilton umbrella to be launched on the island of Okinawa after the DoubleTree by Hilton in Naha. The new resort is located in the urban oceanfront area right next to Mihama American Village -- a popular tourist and shopping district in Chatan Town, central Okinawa. Some of the luxurious features of the resort include lagoon swimming with two water slides and a beachfront Italian restaurant where you can have a delicious meal while enjoying the sun. In addition, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa, multi-cuisine restaurant, lounge and poolside bar are available.
