This shop is owned by Isao Nakama, who studied under pottery master Jorge Itokazu, a third-generation Peruvian-Okinawan, and also with ceramic artist Shinman Yamada. Nakama set out on his own and continues to receive awards at various ceramics exhibitions. Displayed in the gallery are numerous works of pottery perfect for daily use. They have a dynamic yet gentle, Okinawa-like appearance. Be sure to check out the ufudo blue pieces, which can only be found here.
