Zuisen Distillery, producersof Ryukyu awamori, was founded in 1887. Located near historic Shuri Castle in Naha, they still carry on the time-honored tradition of creating their cherished product. Zuisen Seiryu (blue dragon) awamori is made according to the traditional shitsugi method, maturing awamori for at least three years and keeping an alcohol content of at least 30 percent. This signature kusu (aged awamori) has a smooth flavor and a mellow sweetness that only aging can achieve. Visitors may take tours of the distillery. Various products are available for purchase.
