This year marks the sixth annual Chatan No.1 Gourmet Battle, a popular two-day event held annually at Chatan Park, right across from Aeon. A number of establishments from the town will be participating, stimulating your taste buds with tempting treats. Visitors can purchase and sample dishes of their choice with the special food tickets and then vote for their favorite by throwing their used chopsticks into the designated boxes. The winning dishes will be determined by the total weight of chopsticks received in their boxes. Who's going to win this exciting food battle?

Date: Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 10-11, 2018
Time: 11:00-17:00 (Ticket counter opens at 10:00.)
Place: Chatan Park (open space in front of the baseball stadium)
Admission: 1,000 yen (includes 3 dishes)
*Food may not be purchased with cash; visitors are required to buy a set of tickets (1,000 yen, including 3 dishes) to sample any dishes at the event.
