When you pass through the main gate, a pair of floral mother and child elephants welcomes you.

The Okinawa Zoo & Museum will host its annual flower festival featuring a fun, floral paradise and a variety of unique things to see and do. The premises will be adorned with more than 30,000 flowers of many different varieties. The 2017 theme is “magic and adventure.” The festival will feature exciting performances including the popular finale event, all-you-can-fit-in-a-bag flowers. Event visitors will want to come back year after year. Every Saturday and Sunday of the event, the first 100 guests are eligible to receive a free bag of flower seeds.
