PANARI: meaning ‘separate’ in the dialect from the Yaeyama district, this photography exhibition will present pictures of the isolated islands that surround Okinawa by Wataru Kohayakawa, one of Okinawa’s leading scenic photographer. Drawn from his collection of Okinawa scene over hundreds of thousands taken from the last decade, this exhibition will showcase the most beautiful moments of the isolated islands. Kohayakawa spent a lot of time in the isolated islands, particularly during the summer, giving him an ample opportunity to capture the spectacular moments. You will discover the distinctive beauty and colors that are found on these isolated islands.
