Uruma Fest presents live music, free bullfights, and fireworks

Uruma City is one of Okinawa’s true cultural hubs, and that’s what the organizers of the Uruma Festival aim to present to everyone on the weekend of Oct. 12 and 13 from noon to 21:00 on both days.

The two-day festival features a wide variety of entertainment from eisa dance to live music and children’s shows. In addition, visitors will be entertained by a performing arts show, Kimutaka-no Amawari Ryujin, or The Legend of the Dragon God – a performance derived from the history of Uruma City. A fireworks display ends the festivities on both days.

The first 500 visitors on both days will be presented with free seedlings to plant in their gardens.

There is no legal parking at the festival area. A free shuttle bus runs through both days from Uruma Citizen's Art Theater, Gushikawa Gymnasium, Ishikawa Hall, and Yonashiro Park Multi-Purpose Stadium. Parkin is available at these locations.
